Fungi Feastival Events in Bermagui - The Triangle Community Newspaper

Fungi science walks and talks are returning to Bermagui over 27 and 28 June, as part of the exciting Fungi Feastival program. Fungi expert Sofia Zvolanek will be hosting an iNaturalist workshop and two bushwalks, designed to help you transform your love for fungi into citizen science action.

Assisting Sofia will be local fungi photographer and educator Caitlin Brown, who has spent many years observing the colourful fungi of Bermagui. Together they will have expertise, enthusiasm and a welcoming learning environment to offer participants.

Sofia has co-authored a book called Fungi of the Hills and Gullies, an introduction to Berowra Valley Fungi, and will have signed copies available!

The Triangle, a not-for-profit, local, community newspaper, comes out on the first day of every month except January. Published since 2002 we have a print circulation of 1800, with a larger circulation over the summer holiday season. Our paper is free and available in print and online. If you live outside the Triangle area, an annual subscription of $45.00 will cover delivery of all 11 issues.
