Nicole Grimm-Hewitt’s December exhibition ‘Art in the dining room’ at Harbourview House in Bermagui showed her new works inspired by a recent trip to South Australia. Phil Shorten’s journey to open the doors of the Makers Emporium is nearly at its destination. As I write, the necessary fire upgrades and security requirements are being finalised and the finishing touches are being done to the building. With the Grand Opening planned for a yet to be announced date in March, the next few weeks will see the fitout completed, stock brought in and displays prepared.
