Explore Fungi Feastival 2025

This June and July, the Fungi Feastival is spreading its mycelial magic throughout the Triangle region. Expect a rich menu of art, food, science and family fun across Bermagui, Cobargo, Dignams Creek, Mystery Bay and Tilba.
Kicking off on Friday 20 June, Café Champignon hosts an evening soirée and book launch by renowned fungi expert Alison Pouliot at the Bermagui Community Centre. Local art lovers can explore fungi-inspired exhibitions at Shop7 ArtSpace in Bermagui and Lazy Lizard Gallery in Cobargo. Also the Bermagui Library will showcase ceramic sculptures by Tika Robinson.
For experienced photographers, an Advanced Fungi Photography Workshop will take place 21-22 June at Mystery Bay Cottages. Families can get creative at the Children’s Fungi Art Workshops in Bermagui (5 and 19 July) facilitated by local early years educator Caitlin Brown. Cobargo Hotel is hosting a FUNgi paint’n’sip on 12 July.
Ever wondered how truffles are found? Let Gulaga Gold’s trained dogs show you the way. Join a truffle hunt with Gulaga Gold in Dignams Creek across several dates. On the food front, don’t miss the delicious Truffle Lunch at Mimosa Wines in Bermagui (5 July) and the Fungi Dinners at Central Tilba’s Dromedary Hotel (16 July) and Boneless Vegetarian Café in Bermagui (12 July).
In Cobargo, enjoy hands-on cultivation workshops with experienced mushroom farmers Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms, including oyster mushrooms and lion’s mane in cultivation. Plus local truffle farmer Fiona Kotvojs will facilitate a truffle growing workshop.
Film lovers can catch Fungi – The Web of Life at Narooma Kinema (21 June) or Four Winds Barragga Bay (20 July). At Four Winds the film screening will be followed by an eclectic musical and visual performance by The Mushroom Whisperers, the Fungi Feastival’s grand finale for 2025.
